Experience and Training
Caroline is an accredited Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and has worked in private and clinical
settings for many years. She has a BA Honours Degree in Psychology and a clinical MA in
Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. She is currently undergoing an MA in Criminology in DIT. Caroline is
passionately committed to her professional development and regularly attends conferences,
seminars and training workshops.
Caroline has gained valuable experience working in many fields such as hospitals, charities,
employee assistance programs and private practice. Caroline’s background includes more than a
decade of experience in healthcare support in a Bereavement and Social Work maternity setting and
has had clients referred from the Mental Health Team in the Rotunda Hospital. Caroline also has
particular experience of working with people who have suffered institutional abuse or any type of
abuse, trauma or neglect in childhood.
Caroline is a fully accredited member of the Association for Psychoanalysis & Psychotherapy in
Ireland (APPI), the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP), the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and
the Psychologists Protection Society (PPS).
