Experience & Training

In his years of clinical experience, Miles has worked with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, conflict in their personal and professional relationships, questions surrounding gender and sexuality, and other issues. He offers a space to explore your deepest questions, without judgment and in total privacy.

Miles teaches on the psychoanalytic psychotherapy programmes in UCD’s School of Medicine and in Dublin Business School. He completed his master’s in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and the Special Modality Training in the School of Psychotherapy in St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. Before entering his practice, Miles taught English literature.

Memberships

Miles is a member of the Association for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Ireland. He is insured through OBF. Miles is a member of the Irish Circle of the Lacanian Orientation.

Miles has published online, in print, and in Lacunae, the International Journal for Lacanian Psychoanalysis. He continues his formation as an active participant in groups exploring psychoanalytic theory and practice.
