Luigsech Bennett – Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist
Luigsech Bennett (pronounced Lee-shock) is a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapist, holding a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from IICP College, Dublin.
Luigsech Bennett brings both personal and professional depth to her work. Her own experience as a therapy client, spanning more than twenty years, gives her a grounded and authentic understanding of the therapeutic process, both its challenges and its possibilities.
Her practice is integrative, drawing on Humanistic, Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), and Reality Therapy approaches. Rather than applying a fixed model, she tailors her work to each individual, creating a confidential, collaborative space where clients can explore what is most meaningful to them.
Luigsech Bennett holds a Professional Certificate in Adolescent Psychotherapy and has completed specialist training in Polyvagal Theory, which informs her understanding of how the nervous system responds to stress, trauma, and connection. This additional training allows her to work with a broader range of presentations and to bring a deeper, body-informed awareness to her clinical practice.
Luigsech Bennett works with adults experiencing issues such as; anxiety, depression, attachment issues, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and life transitions. She engages in regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development in line with IACP standards.
